David has spent his whole career turning hard data into decisions people can act on. He co-founded KW International, the energy trading and risk consultancy that invented the Profit at Risk method now standard across the power sector, raised £9m in venture funding and reached 25th in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
Before that he built digital dealing room technology at Data Logic and PwC. Since 2012 he has brought the same rigour to healthcare, founding Inspiremed and building Rx Analyser, the dashboard that lets pharmaceutical teams and the NHS see exactly what is being prescribed, where and why. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computing from the University of Bath.
What David does
David leads Inspiremed’s data and analytics work for pharmaceutical companies, the NHS and allied organisations.
In practice that means:
• Prescribing intelligence. He designs the models and dashboards that turn raw NHS prescribing data across the four UK nations into clear market, territory and product views.
• Client delivery. He works directly with commercial, medical and market access teams to answer their specific questions, from market share and switching to unmet need and forecasting.
• Product and platform. He sets the direction for Inspiremed’s software, including Rx Analyser and its successors, and keeps the data pipelines accurate, current and auditable.
